Gallatin County Hazards

Gallatin County is exposed to many hazards. The hazards were identified and profiled through several different means. Hazards were initially identified by participants in the first public meeting. Participants included government, the private sector, and the public. Then, a history of past events was gathered and possible future events were recognized through internet research, available GIS data, archives research, public meetings, subject matter experts, and an examination of existing plans.
